AFinity is a groundbreaking personalised self-care companion for patients of Atrial Fibrillation (AF), the most common heart arrhythmia in the UK. It provides a comprehensive set of tools, including a core, self-diarising function for keeping track of breathlessness, palpitations and general well-being on a day-to-day basis. Developed in conjunction with the Arrhythmia Alliance, the international heart rhythm charity, AFinity contains an easy-to-use reference library containing a glossary of terms for helping you understand technical terms relating to AF, detailed descriptions of common AF procedures, types of treatments, and medications. It also has an INR tracking tool, including a Time in Treatment calculator and visualiser to help those taking Warfarin keep track of INR levels. Finally, AFinity contains a fun, educational quiz to help you improve your general knowledge about AF.

AFinity includes a 1-month free trial subscription to AFinity PRO. AFinity PRO gives you the following additional features:

1. Unlimited secure cloud storage to back up and securely store your AFinity data.
2. Sync your AFinity data among all your iOS devices.
3. New quiz questions and challenges monthly!
4. Access to local news and events via the AFA and AA.
5. Quarterly updates to the reference library, including all medications, treatments, and procedures.
6. Technical support via e-mail.

After the 1-month trial period, AFinity PRO subscriptions are available on a 1-month (£2.99 per month), 6-month (£13.49 for 6 months) and 1-year (£20.99 per year) options.

If you choose to subscribe, your subscription will be automatically renewed at the end of each time period, unless you cancel the auto-renewing. You can cancel auto-renewing at any point through your profile on the App Store. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period, moreoever, any unused portion of the AFinity PRO trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription.

Payments will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Accounts will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.

If you do not choose to subscribe to AFinity PRO, you can still use AFinity’s features for as long as you like; any data that has been downloaded to your device will remain accessible, and the data you have stored on your device will also continue to be accessible as long as you do not delete the data or the application. However, your data will not be backed up or synced without an AFinity PRO subscription; therefore if you lose your device or the data on it, you will lose your AFinity data as well.
